We are seeking to recruit a Chef/Cook for one of our sites in South Yorkshire, The Droppingwell

Job description
Prepare and cook food to the standards set by the Kitchen / House Manager and to the satisfaction of the customer.
Key Responsibilities
-
Prepare and cook quality food for customers.
-
Store all food correctly.
-
Prepare the kitchen and equipment for service maintaining the standards set by the management team.
-
Maintain the standards of personal hygiene, dress and appearance as required by the management team.
-
Responsible for all food handled during preparation, cooking and service.
-
Constantly seeks to deliver a quality offer to ensure customer satisfaction.
-
Abide by all kitchen procedures and systems and ensure company standards are met, particularly in relation to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and routine cleaning.

Approach all work responsibilities with a positive and proactive nature.
-
The ability to produce dishes to specification within targeted delivery times.
-
Report daily to the Kitchen / House Manager about quality issues, stock levels, deficiencies, equipment checks, failures and any incidents that have occurred in the kitchen.

Deliver open and closedown procedures of the kitchen at specific times.
-
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.

Complete company training and development as required.

Carry out any reasonable request that may be made by the House Manager and any other member of the management team

Assistant Manager
About The Role
​
The site is high turnover, fast paced food site. Candidates will ideally have assistant manager/supervisor experience in the pub or restaurant industry and be able to hold a personal license. The ideal person for this role has to have a strong personality, with the ability to lead a full team alone. You will also assist the General Manager with the day to day running of the pub which includes but is not limited to; cellar management, advertising, deliveries, end of day paperwork, opening and closing. There will be excellent promotion opportunities for those with the desire to succeed and operate their own site.

Key Responsibilities

To deputise for the House Manager in times of absence.

Promote friendly, efficient and effective relationships with all customers and team members.

Monitor staff performance by supervising, motivating and training the team to ensure duties are performed efficiently with customer service and satisfaction being a key focus.

Monitor daily operations by supervising and assisting according to demand to maintain appropriate levels of customer service.
-
Ensure correct operating procedures are followed and company standards are met.
-
Ensure daily reporting and banking procedures are followed.
-
Maintain a safe environment for customers and staff at all times.
-
Any other duties as directed by the House Management.
